Quick and Easy Stress-Relieving Breathing Practice for Busy Moms

Having a stressful day with the kids? Feeling burnt-out, overwhelmed, and overstimulated by motherhood? We get it.
Parenting is HARD! That’s why we have outlined this one, simple breathing trick, called left nostril breathing, that you can practice nearly anywhere to help you feel calmer and more emotionally and physically balanced.
The best part about this breathing practice is how simple it is to complete.
Here is our quick how-to guide:
1) Sit or lay comfortably (we recommend sitting in cross legged position, but you can totally do this breathing practice while standing up)
2) cover your right nostril with your right thumb
3) keep your spine straight
4) inhale and exhale through the left nostril
For best results, we recommend doing 6 rounds of this breathing practice.
Mom Tip: Toddlers LOVE this breathing practice. They think it’s hilarious and will often try to mimic you.
